Sealife
The Sealife collection is all about animals that live in and by the sea in Orkney. I use Vitreous transparent enamels that are ground, painted on and fired at 800 degrees Celsius. The results are shimmering portraits of seabirds and other wildlife. I often texture the silver to reflect the enamels and also use Fine Silver and Gold foil. At the moment the collection is all about Oystercatchers but other wildlife will come soon.
